The next question becomes, if you get a hitch like this put on, and go to the dealer with a problem some time later, are they going to go out of their way to make it seem like you towed a boat and damaged things, voiding the warranty, when you really just put a bike rack on the back? I don't know that anyone here can really answer that other than Ford or the dealer, but that is the part that makes me the most nervous about one of these aftermarket hitches.0 in the US, a copy of the owners manual is on the site somewhere.
I think I’ve read somewhere between 1400-1500 on EU versions
1650 in the EU which is a joke when one considers the HP and torque on the vehicle.0 in the US, a copy of the owners manual is on the site somewhere.

Options is not a lease. You own the car, so you can do what you want with it. It’s possible they could consider it “damage” and charge you for it if you turn it in, but I doubt it.How do these types of hitches work if you go with a Ford Options lease? Assuming it's a no go? Again, just looking to throw some bikes on the bike or maybe a hitch ski rack.
I believe the Mach E can pull a jet ski or two easily. I will look into it for the hitch to carry couple bikes myself. What Ford doesn't want for someone to pull more than 1000lbs of stuff.I just want to be able to carry a couple of bikes on the back

Ford knows that in Europe customers want to pull something light going on vacation. Americans.... that is another story. We all here go big..... really big. It is our nature. We over do it all the time.
