Beijing (Gasgoo)- Ford’s first batch of China-made Mustang Mach-Es rolled off the production line and is on track for delivery by the end of the year, the automaker announced today.
The Mustang Mach-E comes in several versions which are open for pre-orders today, namely the Mustang Mach-E GT First Edition, Mustang Mach-E GT, Standard Range Base RWD, Extended Range Premium RWD, Extended Range Premium AWD editions, with prices from RMB265,000-RMB379,900 ($41,200-$59,060).
The Mustang Mach-E comes with preinstalled intelligent driver assist hardware that supports wireless software upgrades. The vehicle is also equipped with the newest generation of SYNC+ 2.0 Smart Connected system and works with Baidu’s ecosystem to integrate data, cloud, map, voice interaction, payment, and other native capabilities to create smart cockpits for a smooth user experience.
The Extended Range Premium RWD edition allows up to 619 kilometers of range, while the Mustang Mach-E GT edition takes only 3.65 seconds in 0-100km/h acceleration for speed chasers.
In addition, Ford is moving quickly in delivering its electrification commitment with investments of more than $11.5 billion in electric vehicle development through 2022. The localized production of Mach-E in China is a key step in the company’s “Best of Ford, Best of China” strategy to offer Chinese customers industry-leading intelligent vehicles and advanced technologies.
