First OTA update for Mach-E coming March 18 tomorrow

SSM 49673 - 2021 Mustang Mach-E - March 17, 2021 - Sirius Presets/Audio Settings Not Saving After A Key Cycle - Engineering Investigation

Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E vehicles may experience a symptom of Sirius presets not saving after a key cycle for additional pages 4-6 or audio settings for tone, balance, speed compensated volume or sound mode not saving after a key cycle. Inform the customer that Ford is developing software that will be programmed to the vehicle via an over-the-air (OTA) update in 2Q 2021. Let the customer know they can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for May2021. Once the update becomes available, contact the customer to ask whether they received the OTA update and confirm if the service appointment is going forward. Monitor OASIS for updates.

Apologies - I never meant to in any way imply any distrust of any member at all, including @breeves002 I honestly value any information I can get here and I try to contribute anything I learn from my own experience. I’m only frustrated that there’s little official communication and support for what is going to be the primary mechanism for “support” for my car.

I can't believe I'm taking this position but I sort of get it. There's been some wrong information on here over time. Proper Ford communications would be better.

Exactly!

Or one just can wait for Ford, which we know that outcome already. The OTA update notes are Ford's official notice and that's all we are going to offically get. Not sure where is this going, as we know the Forum is not an official FORD site, just a bunch of enthusiasts.

Do any car companies publish TSBs and SSMs directly to customers? In my experience, those are generally not publicly available, which is why I’ve always gone to forums to get the insider info.
