So the past few days I decided to leave my key fob in an RFID bag. This was only to test whether PAAK would begin to work. I am not sure if the OTA fixed this bug but my car seem to present more consistently (4 times) as I approach. It presents when I get within 5 to 10 feet with phone in my pocket. It was sporadic or delayed by a few seconds before. I will see if this remains the case later or tomorrow. But for now, my key fob is locked away. Of course, the key code is my alternate means of entry.

I've "heard" that the OTA beta program hasn't fully kicked off yet. So this one is coming out before the beta.

It may be possible that it was a test OTA as I received and completed a survey from the group the day after.

I checked my Sync Version information and it was still the same as before the update. I'll check the version info again if I get the second update next week.

I have a feeling you won't see version numbers change in Sync unless they actually update sync.

Older sync systems had a diagnositc mode you could go into and it would show you software versions on some of the cars modules that interfaced with the APIM.

We may only be able to see these version numbers with forscan. In-fact. I'm gonna go see if I can pull my current version numbers now.

OK, So apparently my car updated sometime, and never got a notification in fordpass about it. Yesterday this just said I was up to date. Also didn't get a notification in the car like it says you're supposed to get.

I don't know for sure, but this where I would see updated software version numbers when the dealer would update modules in my older Fords.

I didn't get a message either about the upgrade, but I noticed a new symbol at the top that the phone was charging on the pad. I hadn't noticed it before. Maybe it was always there...?
