First OTA update for Mach-E coming March 18 tomorrow

Thank you. I actually saw that. I’m not sure who @breeves002 is and it’s not fair to try to ask an in identified third party “hey, what’s up with this OTA?”. To the best of my knowledge, the Ford Motor Company does not have an official presence here, but there are rumors that some Ford Motor Company employees may be “lurkers”. If that’s the case, I’d never presume to impose on them or ask them to do anything that might compromise their position with the company.
What I’m looking for is some form of official statement or confirmation from Ford Motor Company. So far, there has been nothing.

Hi thats me. I have access to PTS which tells me what updates were done and on what modules. The first OTA update was the gateway module only. This module acts as a network switch and facilitates updates to other modules. So this was an update to make future updates work better most likely.

Thanks! I’m trying to find someone at Ford who will say something on the record, not necessarily about the content of the update, but about the EXISTENCE and ROLLOUT TIMING of this update. Right now, the frustrating thing is that, other than anecdotal information, there’s nothing. As an Apple user, I’m used to not knowing WHAT is in an update, but I am also used to Apple telling me when they’ve been released ?

SSM 49673 - 2021 Mustang Mach-E - March 17, 2021 - Sirius Presets/Audio Settings Not Saving After A Key Cycle - Engineering Investigation

Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E vehicles may experience a symptom of Sirius presets not saving after a key cycle for additional pages 4-6 or audio settings for tone, balance, speed compensated volume or sound mode not saving after a key cycle. Inform the customer that Ford is developing software that will be programmed to the vehicle via an over-the-air (OTA) update in 2Q 2021. Let the customer know they can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for May2021. Once the update becomes available, contact the customer to ask whether they received the OTA update and confirm if the service appointment is going forward. Monitor OASIS for updates.

Off topic, how do you save adjust mirror settings? If I adjust the mirrors, it sticks if I don't lock the doors with the key, but after locking it goes back to what I originally set my profile too. They need a save or update feature for the user profiles unless I am missing something.

Adjust your mirrors to where you want them, then hold the profile number on the door that you use until it beeps. That saves your seat and mirror adjustments.

Hold the numbered button next to the lock/unlock button that goes with your profile to save.

I've no reason to distrust @breeves002, but suit yourself. You can also read many of Ford's communications by looking up your VIN at NHTSA's web site. (If you trust them.)
