They just edited their post since not a lot of people know about the beta they mentioned and it’s different than the EAP for PowerUp updates. That specific beta is confidential so I was just telling them to be careful mentioning it.

This update has released some new features. Starting this winter, you're battery will precondition as you approach a charger set in the Ford Navigation, allowing faster charging times.

Are you sure that they won't say:

This update updates things that needed updating. Those things have now been updated by this update.​

If you have a beta version of an App from Ford, then you’d report bugs to Ford using the ”Give Feedback” button within the beta app.

I also don’t think there’s any beta builds for android right now, but that could change any day.
