Hi All,
Last night I lost all connectivity to my vehicle. Today, I have received at least 30 emails telling me that a Master Reset was performed and my vehicle is no longer activated. I have not performed a master reset. On top of this, there is a known issue with Ford right now that no vehicles can be activated at this time.
So, I have lost all connectivity to my vehicle, and can't re-activate it.
Things like this should have been worked out completely prior to production and vehicles being released to the customer. I know it's a new platform, I know there are going to be bugs, but this is a little over the top. I've been in IT for close to 30 years and I can tell you this was poorly executed.
So, if you're taking delivery today or who knows, in the next few days, you may not be able to activate your car via the FordPass app.
