Pretty close @eltonlin to what I did today. Took my dealer 2 days and several calls to Ford and attempts to get the numbers close to what @macchiaz-o spreadsheet predicted. Couple of confirmations for California. Sales tax is calculated on XPlan price (including delivery) + optional accessories. Rebates of $2500 + $1500 + 100 are subtracted after sales tax is calculated (in California). Residual, of course, is based on annual mileage, and the 36% was accurate from the spreadsheet for the Options 48. Interesting quirk - a $85 document processing charge was added to the taxable XPlan price, and therefore taxed. Another $610.75 was added after tax for license, registration, tires. Spreadsheet predicted $16,814 residual, but on my contract the residual is $18,554, and is based on 36% of the XPlan plus sales tax. The $4100 rebates were included in the down payment. I paid the sales tax as the down. Total of $7800 down, but only wrote check for about $3200, the rest was rebates and $500 deposit from 15 months ago. 47 Pmts of $677 vs $685 predicted by corrected spreadsheet.sales tax is based on the x-plan price, which includes destination (which is taxable).
rebate and options cash are applied as separate line items.
