Ford Options Rebate?

Ford options is not available at dealerships in NC. If I go to a dealership in a state that allows Ford Options, can I use Ford Options even though I live in NC? Along that same vein, would I be eligible for the Ford options rebate? I know most rebates are zip code based, but I when I search by zip code it just says to contact the dealer.

I found a MME in NJ that has a $2500 rebate, and for that I would consider that financing option. I could call the dealership, but it is Sunday and they are usually clueless anyway. I am curious if anyone has experience with it.

I'm pretty sure this came up before, and @hybrid2bev said that your home address is what is used to determine rebates and financing. Since you live in a state where the options plan is not available (probably due to state regulations) I don't think you could legally buy using options financing in NJ.
