Hello,

I hope Ford sees this.

I want the Ford Pass App to keep a log of the Kilowatts charged. That is a much more useful metric than % charged or miles added. It allows owners to showcase the "cost" of charging the vehicle to others. When you tell people is cost $65 dollars to charge your car per month. That gets attention.

At the moment it only shows the KWs on the last charge and is not contained in the charge log details.

Please update app!

Thank you

Would be nice, it shows while it’s charging but not on the Charge logs. Make it make sense!

Would be a useful feature, especially if charging away from home and you have to pay for the electricity.

That would requiring measurement hardware on the input side of the charger, costs $$$. Measurement on the battery side is already there.
Best way is a smart EVSE.

The App records it when it is done with a charge session under details. But that same information is not recorded in the log. I believe it is already happening.

Mine doesn’t record it. And it also mixes up the percentages.

I have mine set to charge to 80% everyday. If tell it to over ride and charge to 100%, what is reported is jumbled.

The energy reported in FordPass is not close to the energy consumed from the grid. My meter, which is sitting right before the charger shows about 20% more energy consumed from the grid.

So seems like it does this, but only with the Ford Connected Charge Station afaik. Seems like if your charger was feeding it info it could show it, maybe they could open up some api for that to happen.

The extra 20% energy consumed may be because the car Is using additional energy to run various systems, like cooling, while charging is going on, plus internal charger AC to DC losses.
