Ford Power-Up 2.8.2 on Build 2 (Oct '21) Early Access

My Oct 2021 build car just got Power-Up 2.8.2. I am in the Early Access program.

I'm curious what this fixes or updates? What can I look forward to?

I'm most eagerly awaiting the improved charging curve above 80%. Which modules need to be updated to get that? Is that in 2.8.2?

I was comparing 2.8.2 with the Power-Up wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_History) to see what modules are updated in each update and pondering what issues might be addressed.

This is my first update since I got the car in Dec (aside from the BC map update).

This thread has the modules to be updated as part of CSP 21p22. This includes the updated charging curve higher charging speed past 80%.

Same here. November '21 Job 2. According to this thread 2.8.2 enables Blue Cruise, but BC was enabled at delivery.

2.8.2 is a gateway module update that enabled blue cruise on job 1 cars. It does not do any of the things in CSP 21P22, so no charging changes.

I’m guessing it’s the same update that showed up in FDRS for the job 2 Gateway modules mentioned here.

I just got it on my Job2 Mach-E as well. Looks like we're finally getting OTAs! Woohoo!

2.8.2 came yesterday. Today I got "Ford Power-Up 22-PU0601-SRV-RC" Any ideas what that was? The description said "minor updates here and there. Just small stuff to keep everything running smoothly."

This is really positive news in my opinion, it shows that Ford is working to bring all Mach-E models into software/feature parity and will eventually bring future updates to everyone at the same time.

FYI, I checked the VIN's of a couple of people who have posted in this thread. The 2.8.2 update is confirmed to be for GWM but it seems to be an interim version. There may be some issues with charging data not showing up in FordPass. See the thread below. There is a newer version which just pushed to FDRS this week that solves the problem.

Confirming this issue. Per WyldStallyn, 2.8.2 was pushed to me last night (it has been trying since the 23d, post #4 above), and last night's charging session is not showing in FordPass. (Now why 2.8.2 is being reported back to me as a general failure is another topic.)

for me, last night's charging report will not dismiss in FordPass, and neither will the OTA SW update alert . . .

A new Job 2 OTA which brings GWM to the latest version has been reported here. This has been reported to address the charge data issue.
