Also, there are Lightning OTAs that are exactly the same as their Mach-E counterparts and yet they aren't listed as such on the wiki. 4.1.1, 4.1.2 (AKA Sync 640), and 4.1.3 were exactly the same GWM, APIM, GWM updates on both the Lightning and the Mach-E...but I don't edit or update the wiki so.....not sure who's in charge of that

Yeah I get that there are errors there... The info is gathered from here on the forum, from enthusiasts who are usually but not always right. Ford doesn't reveal under the cover details of Power-Ups, unfortunately.

Actually they do. It's in the manufacturer's communications memos sent to the NHTSA.

What’s changed?

Nothing except that before, the network OTA information at Ford.com was all null. Now it lists actual information about schedule update times and doesn't show any errors. My understanding is that you can't get updates unless you have 4.2.1 update. But I'm a newbie so I could have that wrong. I'm not really sure there are any vehicle updates for the 23 MMEs yet. Maybe the 360 camera icon on the SYNC home page.

The very first OTA I got in November on my '22 had the exact same wording, and then the floodgates opened - I received 9 OTA updates in about 2 ½ months after that first one primed the pumps so to speak.
