Not gonna lie, if this is some sort of off-road focused model meant for production, I'll be pretty disappointed. That would be like taking a bronco, slamming it, and putting in on racing slicks. Just doesn't suit the character of the vehicle imo.

I'd much rather see an even more extreme street performance mach-e that takes lessons learned from the 1400, and applies them in a toned down fashion. Ford seems to be taking a really strange direction with their models and trims recently.

Potentially making a off-road mach-e, taking the rugged and unrefined by design bronco and talking about trying to develop high luxury variants, making their three row explorer ev look like a giant Prius but even less attractive and potentially calling it Thunderbird instead. Raising the price of the maverick by thousands and making the hybrid the optional extra instead of the base powertrain, this killing a lot of the appeal of that excellent product. Just very odd choices all around these last few years.

Capturing some screenshots, it doesn't really look like the ride height has been raised. It appears to be just as low, if not lower than the lower trims mach-e, and about on par with the gt's ride height from what I can tell. Look at the amount of tire showing underneath the car, along with the gap in the wheel arches.

Rally isn’t that kind of off-road.

But for here, the Mustang Raptor has been rumored for a while-

You do know Ford calls the Mach-E an SUV, right?

MasterCard logo on sign & car painted in MasterCard colors tells me it's a rally car partnership with MasterCard.
The colors look to be in line with the new Ford Performance livery. You can also see the same colors on the new Mustang GT3 and GT4.

I'm prepared to be disappointed, particularly since this looks Euro-focused?

Almost looks like there's a new roof spoiler with "fangs" like you see one the Toyota BZ4X.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Ford teases new Mustang Mach-E trim coming? Rally version? MACHE

We’ve Been in Europe for nearly two months now. Lisbon, Barcelona, Cote Azur, Rome, Paris. I’ve seen ONE MME the whole trip. Have seen nothing but Teslas, McDonalds and Burger Kings everywhere. Even Tesla Taxis (How embarrassing). Barcelona has more Teslas than Pleasanton, for some reason.

YouTube clip lasted more than 5 seconds. Obviously some serious editing involved.
Lisbon is my favorite city in Europe! I hope you got some Pasteis de Nata! 🤤🤤🤤

Remember, a rally car and a bronco are two totally different types of vehicles. It’s not meant to go crawling dunes and rocks in the Moab and Canyonlands.

I know, and it's too early to say. Some rally cars are designed for all around performance, that would be pretty cool if this was something like that. Some 600-700 hp production model designed to haul ass on a track and off-road to a lesser degree.

But if it's a jacked up, off-road focused mach-e that compromises road going performance for off-road driving, I'll be super confused.

Does this mean there will be at least one Ford Performance product for the Mach-E on sale through the Ford Performance website (besides Ford Performance stickers)?

Genuinely curious, does this type of advertising really resonate with anyone? I honestly could care less about these one off Ford modified showcase cars. I thought Jim Farley saw the light on needless advertising spending.

If this does result in a new trim line, I can’t imagine it having a high uptake.
