Not too sure if its the 3.30.0 patch or if its just the watch app, but the car seems WAY more responsive now to starting.

For example, this morning (before updating) I tried to remote start my car about 6 times. It just kept doing that circle animation. Closed the app, rebooted the phone turned on/off airplane mode, the whole deal. Finally I gave up and said F it. Image my surprise when I open my garage door and the damn thing is started..... I have this happen pretty frequently, but normally it just does that once or maybe it comes back saying it could not start. Typically I do it the second time and it starts without issue.

This morning I updated and had been using my watch to start the car. I think I started it 4 or 5 times, all worked perfectly and quickly. Just a matter of seconds before I got the response that the command was sent.

I'M DIGGEN THE WATCH FEATURES!!!!

I hope they can implement some of the other options. I mean do we REALLY need a unlock/lock when we have our phones (or fobs) with us? I'd much rather have a trunk release (if I had an electric trunk...) or a frunk release when that comes. Or adding the option where you can roll down all the windows if you need to cool down the car some without using the AC.

Regardless, I hope Ford keeps developing this as having this on my wrist is WAY more convenient.
Thanks for the feedback on the remote start time improvements. I'll try that later today to see if I can experience the same thing. I had an issue opened about that one on the Mach-E Improvement Board.

For example - they introduced SecuriAlert more than a month ago and even totally stupid unskilled tester should be able to see that they just cannot Save schedule for that SecuriAlert. You know - when you create something new, you should be able to save that, right? If you cannot save a Scheduler, you will get 357 useless messages a day - about opening a door to your car. Even mileage on the Home page updates once in a few hours. Utter disappointment.
The SecuriAlert schedules are saving fine for me, which definitely improves the experience with that feature. Otherwise, the alerting is crazy. IMHO, I think the approach as to how that works is kind of bad. i.e. If I have the key fob AND PAAK, it should be able to figure out it's a legitimate door opening and not a thief. Might be good to to have a button to silence SecuriAlert for an hour or something.

I heard of another person that was experiencing issue on the other Mach-E forum so I started tracking that problem. I gather the saving issue is still happening with 3.30. The other person's behavior was the save action would immediately error out.

As for the charge state on the home page vs charging details, I agree. Someone needs to use a central state store for their application... #justsaying

When I start my Mach-E using the Apple Watch (and it starts) I do not see that’s it’s running on my iPhone or iPad Fordpass App.

Weird, it's working on my phone.

Android phone? We seem to have a mixed thread for this update rather than separate like we did for 3.29.0.
The app definitely has a mind of its own still. After seeing your post I opened the app on my phone. The revised button layout was still the same but the time was shown on the button. I went in and added a new departure time. Backed out to the vehicle screen and the time has disappeared from the button again. ???

It's Android, a Pixel 5. I haven't played with the new version much yet but previous ones certainly seemed to be very inconsistent with what information they wanted to show you.
I'm hoping this new version is better at battery consumption, I stopped letting the app run in the background a couple of months ago as it would suck my battery dry before the end of the day.

Schedules are not saved for me, if I try to enter Start time and End time, then select Weekdays and Weekends, then click save - the error message "Sorry, FordPass isn't responding. Please try again later." That is happening since the version this feature was added. IPhone Xs Max. Really frustrating - basically, the intention was good, but the implementation is non-existent...

I have been force stopping this version as well. It gets itself into a 'trying to connect to the vehicle' loop where I get notifications every 5-10 seconds.
Oh and when I opened the app a few minutes ago the departure time was shown on the button again. ?‍♂ ?‍♂

Ver 3.30 on Pixel 5 (Android 12) still a battery drain, using between 18-25% of my battery. PAAK has been better for me as far as connecting but seems counterproductive to have a key that runs out of batteries.

Do you have the blue F logo as your watch complication? My Apple Watch functionality is back, but the sub-dial left complication is just two dashes -- on the face. It was the F logo back in the old version of FordPass that supported Apple Watch from several months ago.
Putting other apps in this complication location seems to pull those logos fine.

Glad the Apple Watch works for you. For me, it just shows "Loading" and never loads. Guess I'll try power cycling my watch off/on to see what happens. Update: power cycling watch did not help. If anybody else encounters this problem and a fix please let us know. btw, all my phone and watch software are up to date. Watch Series 6, iPhone 12 Pro. Thanks.
Have you tried deleting the app and then re-installing it on your watch and phone?

Sometimes this helps.

Having the watchOS again is great for a shortcut, but the complication isn't properly configured:

Ford Mustang Mach-E FordPass 3.30.0 released IMG_8055.PNG
Ford Mustang Mach-E FordPass 3.30.0 released IMG_8054.PNG

These screenshots are using the "Infograph" and "Infograph Modular" themes.

"Infograph" has FordPass as Top-Left complication.
"Infograph Modular" has FordPass as both Top-Left and Middle complications. In practice I'll only have Top-Left as the complication, but wanted to show all permutations.

It seems that someone enabled complications, but didn't put in the supporting functions that allow the display to work in any form. If there's no data surfaced in the complication, the small (icon) complication should be the static FordPass icon and all other sized complications disabled. We can have useful information in the future, but for now they should only allow what's useful now.
