I just wish Ford would bring back the CHARGE NOW option when I plug in at my home charger. No, I don't want to charge to 100%, I want to charge to my preset 80% but I want to to charge now rather than waiting until tonight.

Any chance you'll fix that @Ford Motor Company ?

and yes, I know this is my Lightning but it does the same thing on both vehicles.
Mine starts charging when I plug in, but I should note that I do not have any charging schedules set.

I have a Job 1 car the button inside the frunk does nothing when you push it. No sound at all will that ever work for Job 1 cars? Also no frunk button on app either.
There are a couple of module updates that make the button inside the frunk and the pad on the door B-pillar able to actuate the release mechanism. These updates are only available at the moment via a physically connected update using FDRS. Additionally, the center screen button can be enabled once those modules are updated using FORScan. There is currently no way to make the FordPass app recognize the presence of the updated modules. 🤔🐩

Is there any reason to expect that it wouldn't if you don't have a schedule set?

Yes, CHARGE NOW is only needed when you are outside the scheduled times at a pre-programmed charger.

So far I have noticed 2/3 times I have driven the car since using PAAK and the new app my profile is guest, and I didn't use the remote start.

To compound the situation I did get 3-5.3 update yesterday so it could be that.

Mine doesn’t update charging status now when plugged in. God, Ford really needs to fix their software. It’s been two years, they gotta do better than this. It’s a huge battery hog still. At least PaaK seems to work better.

Regarding the "Guest" profile issue, I've had it too and several other reports are in the forum -- seems to have started (for me at least) with the 3.5.3.3 release . . . Very erratic behavior as sometimes it does choose guest and sometimes not. Sometimes you can reselect your profile, and sometimes you can't.

Took a screenshot before and after update, don't remember what version was before 4.22.

I don’t get it. Why does my FordPass app home screen look nothing like this. Windows Up? Trunk? What am I missing?

So for those people who have updated the BCM & GFM via FDRS and have tweaked the APIM with Forscan it’s is literally just a server side flag that needs to change to make the button show in the app and make them whole?

Then what are they waiting for??? 🤯

If this has been talked about elsewhere sorry I missed it but I do wonder what's up with EA. I did some traveling between 09/26 and 10/02 (CA Central Coast down to San Diego and back) and every EA charger I went had a "Complimentary Session" with no charges for the charge. I did four EA charge sessions totaling 233kWh over 794 miles costing $0!

Is there a major problem with the EA network?
You're right it was free for a while. I talked to a guy working on the chargers at my Walmart and he said that EA had made them all free while they were addressing some software update issues. That is all over now and they are back to charging for electrons. I think it lasted about two weeks and ended just prior to last weekend.

Release notes (or lack thereof) was mentioned earlier. This is a set of release notes that should shame Ford into doing it right. So many notes, it doesn't fit on my phone screen.

I think it depends on the specific charger as I got a free charge at the EA in Newburgh, NY over the past weekend. The touch screen interface was SUPER wonky.

I agree. It appears I got a couple free EA charges last week at two different stations in Virginia.
