I haven't had any issues with the remote start. It's everything else that seems to be iffy.

This! Remote start has worked pretty well for me. Scheduled departure, Bluetooth connectivity, and almost everything else like opening the frunk/trunk has been dodgy.

Agree! When PAAK lets me down again the quickest way to open the car is to hit the unlock on my Apple Watch FordPass app. That works within a second, as does remote lock. Everything that relies on Bluetooth is hit or (often) miss.

Does remote start not default to Guest for all of you, with wildly different HVAC settings? Not sure if it's a bug with my old software, but every time I remote start it defaults to Guest with seat warmer on MAX (which I hate).

Yes, it is on the Sync screen. I believe "Remote Start Setup" is the menu title.
Your choices are Auto or Last Used.

Thank you!!! I bet it's on Auto. I will change it to Last Used and make sure the seat heater is OFF (or maybe on Low while it's still Winter).

Still, the darn remote start really should either default to the profile linked to the app that is performing the remote start, or provide the ability to set a default profile or something.

Does yours always start as Guest as well or is that just a bug I'm experiencing?

Neither @Jimrpa nor myself have been able to open the frunks on our respective cars using FordPass since we got the cars. Imagine that! We can’t be alone!!!
