which is why I also turned off PowerUp auto-update months ago. I hated the mystery changes and side-effects to Sync4; since they weren't documented in detailed release notes, I didn't want to spend time figuring out what changed and resetting parameters with updates.

Yes fordpass is gone for now, was able to unlock the door at 830 am (est) and by 845 am when I saw it did not do walkaway lock, I tried to lock the car it does not work anymore

Same problem here. FordPass is a joke. I've tried 3 times in the last week to change the charge limit at my home charging location. Even when it reported success, it never actually worked. Now the entire app is broken.

Honestly, I'm pretty jealous of the Tesla mobile app.

Anyone else getting FordPass not responding in the app this morning? No matter what I try in the app (Android, Pixel 7), I get the error banner at the top of the screen. I killed the app and re-opened it, same thing. Went out and started the car, no change in the app.

Not working as well here in Northern CA.

Yeah, I get it, Tesla has had availability problems too. But take a look at the features and performance of the Tesla app, and then tell me how you feel about FordPass. We have an incredibly unimpressive, slow, unintuitive and feature-poor app that barely works when it's available, and now it's not available.

Yeah, there’s an outage it seems like. It might be off of Ford’s control like a DNS outage that happened yesterday which took offline all of Disney’s IT.

It's always DNS... lol Or AWS I should say too. They didn't have a great year last year.

Working for me just fine. Going to check out Downdetector and add it if it isn't there.
