is it possible to use the free charging without taking credits from plug and charge?

Yes, you can temporarily disable Plug&Charge from within FordPass before charging.
I found, last time, that I did not need to do this. The electric charge I pulled from the EA station did not deduct from my Ford Pass balance.

sweet free power for my trip. My wife and I also are trying to figure out how to burn our EA credit as well. Looks like we will not be burning any of it this weekend

It looks like it is only for Pass+ members, not everyone
Well, if you pay your $4.00 now, you can get more than $4.00 in charging over the weekend.

Didn't get the email, but also saw the same promotion posted on Twitter by EV Shift. So it's for Pass+ AND for "all customers"? Why not just saw free for all and save us the confusion!
