Hello everyone,
I am the owner of a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach e Extended edition, received in August 2021.
From January 2022, I started to get error messages: “Front camera fault, Service required”.
I went to my dealer who did a simple update of the IPMA module, which didn't solve anything at all.
So I returned to my dealership in March, in July, in December, in total 9 or 10 times until today but each time I collected my car the breakdown was still present.
Today after yet another immobilization of my car, my dealer tells me that they have checked with the engineers and Ford France and it is necessary to change the camera, the video module IPMA and the wiring between the camera and the module and Ford France only contributes 40% of the bill, so I am left with €1,500 because the vehicle is no longer under warranty.
It's quite incredible that a problem which occurred under warranty, barely 6 months after delivery of the car, but which could never be repaired due to Ford's incompetence, is now asking me for €1,500 in costs.
In addition to this problem, I went to the dealer for approximatively 6 to 8 recall !!!
I am very disappointed with Ford, it was my first Ford car, but it will be my last.
Too bad the car is very nice but Ford ….
Good luck to everyone.
