Front grill Camera misaligned?

Newly delivered MME GTPE, front gill camera (360 package) and I’m seeing I think what is the grill in the image. Does any one else have this issue?

Yes, it is normal.

Is it because it’s stitching images together from the mirrors?

No that doesn’t look normal, mine shows no body panels in it. I think you’re right that the camera isn’t aligned or software isn’t cropping the image correctly.

There is a faint line in there, I just never noticed it. Definitely not pronounced like op’s.

The rear camera on my 2021 was WAY off kilter. Never bothered to have it fixed. Our 2022 is straight as an arrow.

Seems like lazy assembly lines workers.

Depends on the color of your car. Darker ones are way more noticeable.

My MME is black, it could be the select grill “mustache” showing up vs the glossy premium grill surround.

Yeah, that’s interesting. My premium had it and so does my GTPE, both prominently like OP.

Mine is white... GT, must be the grill sticker under the camera?

So I had my Son drag his finger up the front, and we figured out that the artifacts in the image are the top of the Pony, So I'm assuming that the camera is looking to far down.

Also, how does the camera washer work? does it move in/out like a drawer, because if that is the case mine is broken. have not tested while out of the car yet, no one home to help dont have super hero stretchy arms

Its the front air dam/splitter that is visible on the GT's front camera. Non-GTs don't have that, so it of course wouldn't show up.

It’s not the dam/splitter. It’s clearly the top edge of the pony. Here’s where the camera is in relation to the front of the car on my Premium.
