Getting delivery from Frontier Ford in a few days... Help please

I am getting my Mach-e that I ordered in Jan 2022, it will be delivered mostly this coming week.
I have seen crazy stories of Frontier Ford doing ADM when car arrives and playing all sorts of tricks to not give car at MSRP.
I don't have any written agreements, but I have the dealer chat where they said car will be given at MSRP. But not sure if they will pull some tricks on me.
Already I get a vibe that the sales people here are shady and trying to lure money.

Any tips or things that I can do when I go to get my car so that I can assure they can't charge me any markups.

Also, people, don't ever order from Frontier Ford!

Aren't they all? Usually that is done on the backend with all the other services they offer.

At any rate, I also purchased my MME from Frontier and did not experience any issues with paying MSRP (I also had nothing other than my online order with Ford). I however completed my purchase in December 2021. Other posts from 2021 (search Frontier Ford in titles) suggest no issues either. I suspect ADM is only in play at Frontier if you are picking up off the lot (e.g. someone else's canceled order).

But as ususal, YMMV. So bring what ever you have to make your case. Good luck!

Go in and speak with your salesman. Talk to them about financing and also confirm the price. Hopefully all goes well and no need to worry. Better to get things cleared up before your Mach arrives.

Tell them you want to do X-Plan financing, and square away your X-Plan PIN beforehand.

Start the conversation now so you know what to expect. See if you can get a feeling or have them commit to MSRP and no ADM for stupid stuff like helium filled tires (makes the car lighter )

X-plan is more pricing vs. financing.

I don't think there's much you can do for X-plan now though. Ford stock X-plan program went away and you need to hold stock for 180 days anyways prior I think. Mustang Club of America was 90 day member I believe.

FWIW, X-plan has rules around how much the dealership can charge. Set prices on doc fees, no ADM allowed, the price is the price, and is to match what everyone else in that same zip code pays for X-plan pricing.

I qualified for X-plan for like 3 ways. OP can try contacting American Motorcyclist Assocation and see what their X-plan rules are (bonus- you can aso qualify for MoTow if you register/renew online).

You must join a certain number of months before taking delivery of the car.

thought that ford ended the x-plan for the 2023 MME though...? i guess OP has a 2022 MME inbound, so maybe still OK?
