Doing a 1500 mile trip again in a few weeks. I was fine last year without a Tesla adapter, so I probably won't get one, but are folks still recommending the Tesla Tap? And if so, what model/version? Can't figure out how many magic docks there are but seems like not too many at this point.
Note that the TeslaTap and similar adaptors are for AC Level 2 charging only. They do not work for DC Fast Charging. 😊🐩

The Magic Docks are installed at only a few Brand T DCFC stations (aka “SuperChargers”) nationwide. They are as rare as the proverbial hens’ teeth. 😅🐩

while TeslaTap, or any similar adapter since they are AC (level 1/2 only), won't help with superchargers here is an easy place to find the current magic dock locations:

I have Tesla tap 80 and used it a couple if times. On a trip now and hotels have both CCS and Tesla plugs but I wouldn’t travel without one just to be safe . Peace of mind and gives your more options.
