Two things. The driving lights turn off any time you put car in park.

To keep the car running (heat) you have to turn off (turn off in 30 minutes).

Not to resurrect an old thread but 2 questions:

1) Have yet to take my (NEW!!!) MME to the drive-in yet but intend to soon. Past trips have found that EVs are the worst offenders of the headlights-at-the-drive-in thing as they seem to come on automatically after a set period of time. I've noticed that, anyway, with Teslas and the VW. Is this something that can happen to the MME? Or if you turn the lights off using the knob, they stay off?

2) Anyone have any additional experiences/tips to report?

Yep, you can turn the lights off with the knob. In our case, we left the lights on Park (setting next to Auto) and our neighbors in our spot didn't mention anything about them being a bother.
