They need to stop talking about it and build the darn network. EVERGY in KC still has not replaced the 2013 50 kw DCFC first gen CCS units. Despite talking for years about building a fast charge network.

There are now two million electric vehicles on US roads. Ameren expects there to be nearly 19 million EVs on US roads by 2030. To meet the demand 9.6 million public charging stations will be needed. There are only about 100,000 stations are in service today.

Good to hear. Only 9.5 million stations to go and well on the way. 10 times the number of vehicles and 96 times the current number of stations would be welcomed I bet. In Europe charging stations are starting to resemble gas stations for cover and amenities which I hope catches on here. They make their money on amenities not gas and we currently stay a bit longer. Less environmental stuff also.

Not sure what @theo1000 is worried about should be no problem in eight years ;). Sounds like a bit of work for a lot of people is coming. Could be satisfying building a different future. Win win.
