The colors are pretty close, except the original didn't have any pearl in it to my knowledge.

Right. The Mach-E's color is called "Grabber Blue Metallic." It has a slight metallic sheen to it. I was pleasantly surprised when the mobile dent people fixed my front bumper and it was the correct color with the metallic flakes.
