Just heard a report that Hawaii was nation’s quickest place to blow through a million in retirement. 10 yrs, 3 mos. Compared to the least expensive, Miss. 23 years.
It is less expensive in Puerto Rico. I am retired since 2012 (nine years) yet I have not spent 400k yet. We get the same tropical weather for less money and distance. If we get statehood, then life will get more expensive since we will start paying Federal taxes

219/270 mile range = ~81% of full range
276/326 mile range = ~85% of full range

3.5% difference, not that huge, considering the difference in drag of the two vehicles.
57 more miles is a big difference......

model y long range awd has epa range of 326 miles. If it was 50 miles short it's basically the same as 219 for 270 epa miles

This is so different than what the tfl guy saw
The difference is I can go farther with one vehicle over the other!

So the SR AWD is 86 MPGe and the ER AWD is 84 MPGe. 2.55 miles/kwh vs. 2.49 miles/kwh.

I assume that difference is purely in the weight of the ER battery??

Curb weight I see listed is 4,394 lbs.

Does anyone know the weight specifically for the SR AWD vs. the ER AWD? (Meaning what's the added weight for the big battery?)

Plus, you get money in 6 years from the class action lawsuit against Tesla because your neighbor's Mach-E now has more actual range than your Model Y. Win-win, right?
What class action lawsuit? I am not aware of a range lawsuit......

Same here, I round trip 200 miles often on weekends to our parents house to take kids out. I would hope it lasts interstate hwy miles, with enough room to spare for misc. miles between.

Looking forward to more reviews like this one.
Do you have a charger at the destination?

Did you read the thread you are posting in? Look at reply #30.
That wouldn’t affect me since I would be leasing a Model Y........sounds like a problem for someone who is thinking about keeping the car for long which I am not.

And so is the price 😀
Yep Mach-E Lease Numbers look terrible compared to Model Y even though the Mach-E gets the federal tax incentive of $7,500 and the state incentive. That’s definitely leaning me towards Model Y but if lease numbers start making sense on the Mach-E I will get a Mach-E.
