I should have my GT by the end of the month. I’ve been trying to decide if I want some PPF on key spots and I don’t know if I want to spend 2 grand for a full front. Is the GT faux-grill pretty durable as far as small rock impacts go? I figure I might make that area priority one as far as protection goes. Touchup paint can handle the body chips but I don’t know how one can repair the GT faux-grill. Did Ford do a good job of making this part stand up to small rocks and not getting damage?

I've had my MME GT (not PE) since Oct. Just over 2k miles. So far the front "grill" is undamaged from what I can tell. I live in SoCal & weather is hardly an issue. I'm not sure what PPF is, but a $2k aftermarket upgrade for exterior protection seems pricey. If ur gonna keep the car for 10 yrs & live in cold climate with chippy roads, maybe it's worth the investment. But not for me.
