It’s been a few months now. So where is our GT or GTPE dynos?

I know someone must have access to one.

All I remember seeing is one person trying like week one and they couldn’t figure out how to turn off crash avoidance to get it to work on the dyno.

Would love to a see some numbers and real data on what happens after 5 seconds as well as with unbridled extend.

4x LR Dyno to compare:

A few years ago, I had my Focus RS on the dyno quite a few times after the modifications I would make to the powertrain. It was fun to see the differences after each mod.

Not sure what the reason would be to take the Mach-E to the dyne other than finding out what the total output is. Also not sure if the place I took mine too has had an EV on their dyno. I could always call and find out I guess. I wouldn't mind doing this at all.

Looking for total output, but more importantly, curious minds want to know what the hp drop is after 5 seconds.

Ford seems to be the only manufacturer who doesn’t advertise the power with and without boost.

I remember one person last fall trying to Dyno, but they couldn’t get the crash avoidance to completely disengage. Car kept trying to steer off the Dyno!

And in the Lightning video above, they had to trick it to get it to not pull power.

There is data showing power flow during an acceleration run. It drops to somewhere around 275hp (converted from the electric power) fairly quickly after the 5 second limit. Or above certain speeds.

I remember seeing that a while back. But I’m not sure how accurate the power flow data is and not sure how much of that power gets out to the ground.

I would still want to see the exact data though. Because of the GT off boost actually drops to less horsepower than a premium 4X…….. that’s just F’d up.

Do we have acceleration time for the GT vs 4x from 70-110? Starting from cruising speed.?
i.e. If both are cruising at 70, then accelerate, is the 4x still faster?

We don’t.

But it seems like in that situation the GT is faster at first, then either equal or slower.

Will the 4X catch up by 110? Jury still out.

No clue why with all these cars on the road, people still haven’t lined them up or gotten draggy info at that speed.

Some Dragy results for 4X:

0-100: 12.9
0-110: 16.8
70-100: 6.19
30-100: 10.4
1/4: 13.6@103mph

So, 100-110mph takes 3.9 seconds in 4X.

Temp: 64F
SOC: 83%

Edit: the above run started with a terrible 2.46 0-30mph time because of 1 pedal and auto hold. I’ve seen subsequent runs of 0-100 as low as 12.5 with a 2.1 0-30mph time.

is the 70-100 time starting from 70, or extrapolated from a 0-100+ run?
