Little concerned with what a fully loaded GT performance will be priced. Looking at the list of things that are options instead of standard on the premium which starts at $47k but goes to $55k with the big battery, what will the GTP end up with all he extra's since it starts at $60 but has very little on it?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

For the non-GT ordering opened up in the last week of June 2020.
Production began in October 2020.
Ford started their "road trips" where you could SEE and SIT IN (NO TEST DRIVES) preproduction cars in October 2020
The first driving reviews by journalists of production cars was in mid December 2020.

I'll be placing my order as soon as I can on the 28th. But after a test drive it will be turned over to dealer stock since I have my FE.

Of course unless they decide to actually try and give me a fair trade value on my FE.

Now.... now I have buyer’s remorse. I could have spent a mere $4k extra and ordered a GT. ?

But the GT already starts at the premium trim and AWD so a lot of cost is already in

GTP res #0103.

Sans hard news on GTP performance am still undecided. Considering near $30K price delta, new Golf R is very compelling.

While I am more interested in a BEV, if the GT performance gets near the 70k range with options then that starts getting into new m3/m4 territory so I am hoping that we get a detailed break down of the various upgrades for the performance edition, after all this is typically what ford has done in the past with other performance models.

So far a couple of reviews have commented on the vague steering of the mach-e which is not what I want in a performance ford but without any concrete details on changes I have to go in with a bit of blind faith that the appropriate changes where made, with the specs still having the same slow 14.6 steering ratio it makes me think otherwise :(.

So far apart from knowing that we get a larger motor upfront and the magna ride (I class Pirelli summer tires as a massive downgrade that need replacing), the rest appears mainly cosmetic. While delays have been unavoidable the performance BEV crossover space is starting to heat up so maybe ford will price very competitively the same way the price was dropped on the the other trims just prior to ordering. If my dealer has no problem with a non committal refundable deposit then I will feel more easy ordering early otherwise I will leave it as late as possible

Things will add up quick. I'd prefer an option to get 3 season tires like the Vette. I'm going to have to pony up for snows or an aggressive all season tire. I also don't like the rims on the GT. Wife thinks I'm nuts.
Still want Orange.

I'm warming up to those rims. They look so easy to clean too. The nicer Performance rims are awesome, but it looks like each one would take a half hour to clean all those nooks and crannies.
