Should be a great test! Are you transferring your existing tires, or putting new ones on? The best test would be to transfer your existing tires, so you can do an easy before and after test.

Very interested to see what you find out. I bet you see a small highway range hit. The GTPE wheels look like they are less aerodynamic than the GT wheels, but of course wind tunnel testing is needed to really know that. Visually they look like they would catch more air moving and spinning.

I was thinking of putting a new set of tires on, but hadn't made up my mind yet. Will let everyone know.

I think you will need to do an 80 mph before and after efficiency test. I suspect the difference at less than 70 mph will be hard to measure with all the other variables (weather, traffic, etc.). New tires will reduce range at all speeds, so maybe you can account for that somehow.

For what it's worth, in Canada my parts department at my dealer quoted me $2000 CAD on this set vs ~1300 USD ordering via the performance website. After exchange, it still works out to be about $1700 CAD. I'll save the few hundred and make a trip to the border to pick them up.

Thanks for the heads up on the coupon. I had almost ordered from Steeda the other week, but held off, but finally pulled the trigger with this coupon from Ford Accessories.

Have loved those GT wheels since the original announcement back in Nov of '19 and had always said I'd get a set if available for my FE. They're gunna be a PITA to keep clean though...
