GT seat backs

Anybody know how to remove the part on the back of the seat that’s shown in white? Yes this is from a Rally but the photo helps outline what part I’m inquiring about. Does it snap off or do you need to disassemble the seat to remove it? Thanks.

The seats in the GT and Rally certainly make me hope for something different for the 26 MY. I really like the seats in my 22GT but the GTPE seats and current GT seats do not appeal to me.

this exploded view might help. It looks like if you can get the small access plate off the back of the headrest you can access the mounting hardware.
