GTPE All Season Tires

Getting close to fall, going to switch out the summer Perelli's. (Don't think summer tires will hold up during Chicago winters)
Any suggestions for all season tires, (keep on year round?
was thinking about Michelin crossclimate 2 or Perelli may have come out with a all season

I'm in Chicago also, should be getting my GTPE in October, I have already purchased the cross climate 2 tires, have a colleague that has them on his Lexus and runs them all year and loves them. So that's what I'm going with, I hope we have decent weather when I get my car. Hope this helps.

For another suggestion, take a look at the stock MME GT tires (not GTPE). They are all seasons, but I was very very impressed with their performance last winter. I believe they are Continental Cross Contact A/S.

I switched my tires on GTPE right away to the Continental DWS 06 Plus. I’ve been happy with wet and dry traction.

Well after reading through some threads and doing a little research I have narrowed down my choices for an all-season performance tire for my GTPE with 245/45 R20. I have noticed some tires will have an XL designation; I assume this means "extra load"? If so, does it mean the side walls are more robust/stiffer due to heavier weight loads with trucks as well as EVs? If anyone has any experience with any of these and/or recommendations I would appreciate it.

I have GTPE wheels on my FE and went with the Continental Extremecontact DWS 06 Plus and I've been very happy with them.

Chose them for my Mini Cooper SE winter-month tires as well since they impressed me on the Mach-E.

I'll second that. I worried about road noise with most of the available options, but I've got no complaints with the DWS 06+, except for that terrible naming.

Search the forum there are probably four to five threads on tire replacement. The topics range from the true winter tires needed in Canada, Chicago, Sweden to all season tires needed for areas of the country that get just cold. For the latter, @markboris posted his input on a few all season tires he had on his car.

Has anyone had Costco install Cross Climate 2 on their MME GT-PE? I was set to get them installed today and the tech refused to do so claiming "your car originally came w Y rated tires so you have to stick with a Y or W rated tire - CC2 are V rated so we won't honor the warranty"... Sheesh..

I got Continental Extreme Contact DSW06 Plus in 255/45-R20 for my GTPE. They've been great.

I heard the Control Contact SRS+ is a Discount Tire exclusive and seems to have a better rating than the Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus. I live in Michigan and winter is a factor for me.
