That's what it's always said though, so hopefully nothing is different there. Plus it said "Mach-E deliveries", not just FEs, so hopefully that's nothing more than the standard boilerplate.read between the lines me thinks they are hedging December into January. They say "will begin" late 2020, but with further disclaimer. we'll see, but at least we know they have taken note of these drop orders. Not sure why it takes till mid October to enter them. There weren't that many.
what seems new is the people who get the notice get approved as wait list and treated same as drop orders, so basically "filled" if you get the email.
Waiting another half month to get them in the order book is a bit disconcerting though. It sounded there were maybe a few hundred Machdrops, not thousands. Doesn't seem like that should take long.
Oh well, guess we'll see. In my case, the worst that could happen is it gets screwed up and I fall back to my Premium order (and save $3600 now to boot). I guess there are worse things.
