I did get a call within 24 hours of placing my order originally, but nothing in the months since.
Can't say I've really expected to hear from them again until options and pricing are announced. At that point, I will want to coordinate for placing my order -- May 11 if the rumors hold true.

I heard absolutely nothing, but I was in there for scheduled maintenance on my current vehicle in February and ask them to confirm they had me on their list, and they did. Kind of annoyed that I had to go out of my way to ask.

My local dealership called my the day after the Mach E was revealed and I put in my reservation. It currently is closed due to the Governor's state wide order on the health issues we are facing. I'm not going to rush to transfer the reservation to an order until production begins, independent reviews exist and dealers have demos to look at.

My dealer texted me on 1/22/20 to thank me for the order, to let me know who my contact is at the dealership, and to say they will be in touch when more information is available.

I got a call within a couple of days of my order last November 25th, which was a positive sign. My chosen dealership is a small family owned business and I want to continue to support them over the typical sleazy mega dealership. A few weeks later I actually went to the dealer to see an escape in rapid red (my chosen color) to get an idea of how big the Mach E will be (from the dimensions available the escape is roughly the same size). I talked to the dealer's Mach-E "specialist", who didn't really know much - I knew more. My guess is that he was the "stuckee" for the Mach E preorders, and isn't really convinced that it will sell well and views it as a nuisance management foist on him.

Come May 11th (or whenever the date happens to be) I'll press for more information; if he hasn't improved I may shop around for a different dealership.

Went to see my nominated dealer the day after I placed my reservation. I think I knew more about the car and process than they did. Didn't even realise that reservation deposit went into their bank account. Thought it went to Ford's. Emailed them 2 weeks ago to confirm that they had my details and to ask what happens next. Still waiting for a reply. Wish I could get car from my local dealer and not a Ford Store.

I don't think anything is expected until sometime in May, and given the COV19 that might slip longer.

I haven’t heard a thing. I’m not even sure if you needed to, if you could switch dealers without losing your place.

Not a peep.

Not that I expect it now. Read a story the other day that hundreds of dealership employees have been laid off around here. Didn't include my dealership specifically but I assume they probably did the same. With all "non-essential" businesses ordered closed, I suspect they're only keeping a skeleton staff for now (the service department might qualify as essential).

I'm leaning toward passing on my purchase slot when it comes around anyway. Feeling pretty confident the $7500 tax credit will still be available for the 2022 model now.

So far, my dealership has been great. I received an email within a workday of placing my reservation, and a phone call shortly thereafter, inviting me to tour the dealership. While there, I was introduced to my contact who gave me the walkaround.

To keep in touch, I received the current sales brochure on the Mach E in the mail from them about 2 weeks later. I still get periodic emails from my contact person, just saying hi.

Given the other responses, I feel like I've been given the white glove treatment!

Did you place your reservation directly through Ford's website, or did you start with the dealership's website? I see now my dealership has a spot to do it from their website. I'm guessing I might have heard something from them if I'd done it that way instead.

I have not and when I called to ask about it, I got transferred to 3 different Sales People and none of them seemed to know anything about the vehicle and in fact they all said they didn't know that there was a Mustang Mach E and were not aware of any new electric car coming soon.
