I had a 64 1/2 Mustang, but it had steering problems and I did not have it long. My brother in law had a 65 that I got to drive a couple of times, it was nicer than the one I had.

'87 slug 4 cylinder convertible and '68 289 here. Currently have a 2001 sitting in my backyard that a family member dumped on me. Anyone want one?

This will be my first.
Most every performance type vehicle that I have owned has been a Pontiac model with one C3 Corvette mixed in there for a change of pace. I became interested in Ford's new ground up EV since I first heard about. Later found out about the Mustang name and began shopping elsewhere but eventually I got over it since it's just a name after all. You'll see me refer to it as a Mach E.....I usually omit the prefix since it's too many syllables. :)

I owned a Mustang in 1968, then my wife and I had our first daughter and traded for a Peugeot station wagon. The Mustang was my one and only American car. Everything after the Peugeot has been German.

I drove a '78 Mustang II for 3 years. I realize some will argue that wasn't a Mustang either but it was the only car offered by Ford at the time which included Mustang in the name, so Ford certainly considered it to be one. This was also back in the days before Mustang was a sub-brand on its own. Lots of Ford and Motorcraft branding all over that car.
