Happy new year!

Does anyone know if the headlights/markerlights are "codeable"?

I want my european Mach-E to have the amber markerlights you guys have in the US. The rear marker lights are just hardware (which I've already got), but the frontmarker lights are integrated in the headlights. So - since the headlights are both E-code and DOT, I believe that there's some coding involved. Does anyone know if this is the case? And if so; is it doable with Forscan or something?

Yes it might be possible. it is in BCM config of Fordscan. Not all combinations is possible, but the turn signals can be permanently on as side lights and/or as DRLs, but they are either full brightness/width or off.

I don't have screenshots, but it can be set by setting left side and right side turn signals as DRL + Turn or Side + Turn instead of Turn only. (it can even be set individually for left and right side).

Unlike most other stuff the european lights have different hardware than the US versions, so it might still not have the necessary hardware for all combinations.

Hi. No - I haven't got any positive feedback on this. Maybe I'll buy myself a forscan and try it out..

Got my Forscan and tried this out; got the turnsignal to be permanently on as side lights and/or as DRLs, but they are either full brightness/width or off so it didn't look good at all. Also found that the US and EU headlights got different partnumbers, so there's probably different hardware inside.

Thx. For trying the Forscan reconf. Out.
Sad it did’t do the trick, I think changing the headlight units from US to EU
p/n’s will also change the way the headlights work and are approved.
Pls. Keep US updated, also I will continue to investigate ?????
