With winter fast approaching, I am reminded how blazing the heated seats are in my Mach-E. Even on the lowest setting they are scorching bits that aren't meant to get that hot... Is this just a me problem?

I can generally leave mine on 1 the entire time I drive if it is cold. 2 is good for warming up but like above said 3 is too hot. I think those are adjustable in FORScan actually but haven't tried it on the mach e.

They do get really hot on any setting. It's not just you. :)

Iā€™m good with the heating levels personally. Iā€™ll tell you what, when my back is aching for some reason, I look for an excuse to go for a drive with that puppy cranked to level three.

Do you happen to know which setting?

I agree, level 3 is like sitting in a hot tub, but might be nice when it's 10F out. My Bolt used to automatically go from a 3 down to a 2 after like 15 min, anybody know if the Mach e does this?

1 - takes the cool off, 2 - toasty, 3 - too hot after about 2 minutes.

I have Ford seat covers and it tones the seat heaters down quite a bit. I generally use level three but also really like hot seat heaters so it would likely still be too hot for many even though it probably knocks it back about 1 full setting.

I like level 3 for cold days. Donā€™t take it away!

Seat cover is a great idea!

Level 3 is insanely Hot. It's my steering wheel that never really warms up between the 10 & 2 position. It's a bit warmer between the 4 & 8 O'clock. Maybe the windings were not wrapped evenly?
