Definitely a base GT (seats). Does have the borla active exhaust thing. Carbon fiber hood and bits.

Not sure I understand the value proposition here.

Well….. it SHOULD be good publicity for Ford, Hertz and Shelby.

But since none have any mention of them online, I’m not sure what they’re thinking.

All three should be advertising this car. And they should send them to the car reviewers to see if the suspension upgrades help.

Missed opportunity for sure.

My guess (speculation) is that the European Shelby GT didn’t sell well so Shelby made a deal with Hertz.

I read online someone rented one of these for cheaper than a model Y!

They were asking $25k for an appearance package. That’s a heavy ask.

Also disappointing because they seemed to promise early on a Shelby version for the US that would (of course) include power upgrades.

I guess this means they gave up?

Based on the zero pictures posted from our European friends here, I’m not sure they sold many of the limited 100 run.
