It worked the one time I tried it which was yesterday but that was the free charge day at Electrify America so I haven't properly tested it.
I had the same experience on Earth Day because it was free. But that’s not real Plug & Charge because the system didn’t need to negotiate payment. The other times I’ve tried P&C - yes it is enabled and yes I’ve got the 500 free kWh plus payment method added to my Ford.com wallet - it has completely failed to initiate. Which leads me to believe that the payment stuff may be the problem. I am hearing reports that it has worked for some, which makes it all the more confusing why it has failed for me and many others.

Anyway, I’ve only reach 2,500 in the past two months, so I can’t contribute my own list in this thread. Congratulations on the milestone!

I averaged just over 2000 miles/month with my 2017 Focus Electric but now I seem to be right around 2500/month. Tomorrow is my 2 month anniversary with the Mach-E but it was parked at the dealership for 1 week waiting for a windshield so 7 weeks of actual use. I think what I am finding is this car is more useful to me than my Focus Electric so I drive it more.

I have other cars for recreation use but the Mach-E is my daily driver. About 44 miles round trip commute plus I use it for business to meet clients and visit job sites etc. So far my expense reports have averaged over $500 in mileage reimbursement for each month.....plus I have gasoline cost avoidance so that is another $400 per month in savings. So, this car pays for itself. Just like my Focus Electric did. :)

For the rear vents, I've found that air only comes out of them if you have the air direction in the front set to the face vents. If you have it set to Auto, the air seems to come out of the defrost and foot vents, but not the face vents (and therefore not the rear vents). Is that also what you're seeing?

I also noticed that the wheel on the rear vents needs to be all the way to the right for those vents to be open. I don't think that wheel is labeled, so it wasn't clear to me at first which way was open vs. closed.
Yes. Wheel all the way to the right for max airflow. I use Auto most always. In the Climate Screen, I have the top choice selected which I think is what you are referring to the "face vent" setting.
I haven't tried the other setting. That turns off the rear vent in your car? I will check and see if my car does the same thing. ?

This is a great post, with lots of good information in it. I’m about half way to doing a similar post at 5,000 miles. ...

I look forward to reading each of your thought after 5k miles. It's easy to be in love with something new but after a while reality sets in that we have to live with our choices for the next several years or longer. Everybody has different use cases and different expectations so I am interested what others are experiencing as well. I always learn cool stuff that way. ?

The top choice is defrost, which doesn't send any air to the rear vents. The middle option is the only one that seems to. It actually shows that in the pictures.

I don't have my MME yet, so the following is based on the way many other vehicles work.
There should be ducts underneath the front seats to supply airflow to the rear when the 'foot' position is selected. The vents on the rear of the console supply the air in the 'face' position. With 'auto' selected systems typically use the 'face' position for cooling and the 'foot' position for heating.
The QX60 I used to have did not have ducts for the 3rd row seats, so it would never get very cool back there. I ended up buying small electric fans that plugged into the USB ports back there so when I had passengers they could be more comfortable. Not necessarily the most elegant solution, but it was pretty effective.

Yes, the MME also has ducts under the front seats for foot warming in the back. I can't actually comment on if the face setting is used for cooling because it hasn't been warm enough to use cooling in the MME yet, only heat. But that would make sense. If the face position is used for cooling when set to Auto, air should come out of the rear vents as well.

They do tell you to turn off the HVAC in the winter while DCFC if you want to achieve the advertised DCFC speed. That was in the advice email they sent out.
Ah, while charging. That's the piece that was missing.

Sorry. I meant that middle one then. I have never needed the top or bottom choice.

I am at 2,630 after 1 month, so I’ll be doing a post like this in around another month.

That said, it’s been pretty positive so far. Minor issues and nuisances only so far.

I love these reviews by those with high mileage.

I'd think it would be cool to have a "5K Miles" thread where everyone posts their Miles per kilowatt hour for the life of the car to that point.

And this could be that thread. I already posted my kWh/mi for the first 5k miles. ?
