I know there are some over 10k miles, but has anybody reached 15K yet? We have had ours for a month now and just shy of 1,000 miles.

I will probably hit 15k miles later this week....

If I have time I will review my original post and update comments as necessary. Some stuff that worked well enough before no longer functions now. Software things. Mechanically everything appears to be fine.

How long have you had the car? We average about 12k per year. One year I put 20k miles on my Truck commuting to Miami from Central Florida. Gas was a lot cheaper back then!!

This is a great post, with lots of good information in it. I’m about half way to doing a similar post at 5,000 miles. My only complaint is that one of my biggest pet peeves is people messing about on their phone while driving. I’m a big “If it’s that important, pull over, park, and deal with it. Otherwise, let it wait until you’re stopped and in park.” person. Therefore, I really wish you weren’t going 71 mph when you took that picture. I’m not saying you were wrong to do it, I just wish you hadn’t.
Oh, I was so close but failed..

I wish the hazard and park assist button were seplace else. No troubles with rear AC except for "I am cold" here in Florida. Metal roof maybe?

15,000 update.
Very displeased the vehicle is unable or unwilling to keep the battery cool while parked on plug. Thankfully @macchiaz-o figured out a work around which I detailed in some other threads. Then, Ford sent an OTA that rendered that work around ineffective. :(

Now I have to babysit my car and make sure it is awakened periodically so it will cool the battery. I remember I used to tease my colleagues in Wisconsin because they have to start their ICE cars every 3-4 hours during the winter to ensure it would start when they got off work for the day. Now I pretty much have to do the same thing but for an opposite reason. Not ideal. :(

No other complaints really. I don't care about PaaK so that is a non issue to me. Car does everything that I need and lots of extra things that I don't need but appreciate.

If given a choice, I would buy it again. :)

Starting a thread for those of us that have at least 5000 miles behind the wheel so we can give some feedback to Ford or anyone who is interested in buying a Mach-E for themselves. I will do my best to eliminate unnecessary commentary and present the facts. Sometimes things really are black and white, yes or no, good or bad etc. For the most part I have been able to resolve most issues by reading the manual or getting helpful lessons from other forum members so that has been a pleasant surprise. Even so, there are a few items I would like to comment on. So, here we go.......

Things that I have found to be Excellent or Above my expectations:
  1. BLIS
  2. Adaptive Cruise
  3. Lane Keeping Assist
  4. 360 Camera view (very clear) and sensors(very helpful)
  5. Pony Lights (work every time as expected)
  6. Charging Schedule and SOC % limiter
  7. HVAC climate control for FRONT PASSENGERS
  8. Hands Free Liftgate
  9. B&O Sound system
  10. Range 290 miles AWD EX
Things that do not work for me:
  1. Siruis-Song/Artist Alert feature (yes, I have this enabled in the settings)
  2. Navigation-HOV/Car Pool Lane routing. I have this enabled in the settings and it worked BEFORE the OTA but does not work now. :(
  3. Navigation-Distance to next waypoint does not display or count down. (might be a setting.....I don't know...)
Things that work.....but not to my satisfaction/expectations:
  1. FordPass
  2. Phone as a Key
  3. HVAC for REAR PASSENGERS

Overall.....I am very pleased with the vehicle and look forward to my next 5000 miles.
Great job Ford! I think you have raised the bar for what an EV can be. I look forward to future updates and future product models. ?

I don't have an official score but I think it would be right about 96% ish. :)

Ford Mustang Mach-E Hey Ford-Here is my 5000 mile update! 20210816_124040
Time for a 30,000 mile update.
Car is doing well. Items #1 and #2 are now fixed through one of the half dozen updates I have received so that is cool.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Hey Ford-Here is my 5000 mile update! 1644625569560

Tire tread depth if now at 7/32"

?
From time to time my car won't charge overnight which is super annoying. Didn't occur too often for the first 11 months....maybe once every 3 months or so. This month is seems to happen once a week so I hope Ford is working on a fix for that.

With each successive update, the Sync screen gets slower and slower to boot up. Sometimes the station names and logos don't appear unless I change the screen to another function and then pop back and it's all there. That is kinda weird.

Still glad to have this vehicle. Sure beats pumping gasoline.
