Mine had 27 miles. However I've gone back and looked at my previous 5 purchased vehicles and none had more than 15 miles. With 3 under 10 miles and one at 5 miles.

I also was shocked at the mileage. But I think it's to do with some joy riding, testing, quality, transport and more joy riding.

My last vehicle was a 2019 Edge ST. It had 3 miles on it when I took delivery. It basically came off the truck, and parked until I asked to look at it.

The sales contract listed the mileage as 6 miles which is what was on it when it pulled off the trailer.

Total mileage when we left the dealership was 23.

If it was sitting there at the dealer with 23 miles on the odometer at the time you completed your sale contract, then your official mileage at sale (which is also your warranty basis) should be 23, not 6.

Mine had 15 or so when I first set foot in it. After test driving it was up to 24, so my odometer for the first sale of the vehicle is 24 miles.

In the 70s and 80s, it was not unusual for a "new" car to be delivered to a customer with 200-300 miles on it. The cars were routinely used for test drives until someone bought it.

Yeah. Parked for a whole week at the dealership because they removed the windshield before they realized the replacement part hadn't arrived yet.

40 miles when taking delivery, including 6 I added myself during the test drive.

I didn't care in the least. Super happy to have been able to purchase my car a week after my birthday and before so many others had received theirs. It's my dream car and I'm loving it.

Mine was a canceled order that they were going to take into demo stock. The gm used it for a couple of weeks. It was up to 500 miles.

That may be true but all of these were basically "Special Orders" I did "Special Orders" for 2 cars back then (78 Oldsmobile Starfire and 83 Dodge Charger) and neither of them had more than 20 miles on them when delivered. Thus "Special Order" --> doesn't sit on the lot waiting for a buyer.
