Many people on this forum not only paid for an extended warranty but a few paid over MSRP and I would guess many of them borrowed money to pay for said car.

The "Stealership" just legally raped them without them knowing it.

Telsa battery warranties make no sense. The RWD/LFP should last the longest and the X/S are the most expensive.

OP - I'd be curious how many miles you get out the upgraded 2022 HVBJB and whether Ford pays the replacement when that happens.

One way to look at it to make it seem more consistent is that the mileage warranty is roughly 375 charge cycles, with the model X being the most off from that figure.

At 67500 miles I have 507 charge cycles, nearly always 100% at home, as much as I actually need at DCFC out on road bringing average charge down to 43.5kWh per cycle. Am at 96% SoH. Whatever all that means I know not what - should I care or worry??‍

Typically, one charge cycle is counted each time you've added 100% to the battery. So 10 charges from 80-90% count as one charge cycle.

I just hit 70k on my 2021 Premium X4. 1 HVBJB, along with a battery control module and a set of tires at 50k.

No idea where I am with battery degradation but my seat of the pants GOM says I'm sitting pretty good. I charge to 90% at home plugged in every day. We travel to Baltimore and Illinois frequently and DCFC then. I have no idea how many times, but can safely say it is more than 6 ?

glad to see your battery SOH reports 91% , very encouraging. Since you've put on 100k miles, I am guessing you do a fair amount of road-tripping with DCFC. can you confirm and guess aprox miles that were charged with DCFC ? or a % you use DCFC ?

was your first HVBJB a 'second generation' HVBJB ?

and, the second replacement, only 6k miles ago.... same part number, or has it been changed/improved since your first replacement ?

I guess there are just too many zeros to fit any more. Or they figure that if you drive that much, you aren't looking at tenths of miles anymore.

Better than my 69 Mach 1- they never expected 100,000.
