I wanted to route the cable to the center of the garage so I could have it easily accessible without having to walk it back to the wall of the garage, so I’ve come up with this cheap/ugly but effective solution! I also must park nose out...never know when the zombies will strike!
I’m going to try silver springs instead of bungees next (aesthetics) and work on fine tuning the slack. I’m also going to install a clip on the garage door to hold the plug so it’s not left swinging when the car is unplugged.
Thought about routing it on the ceiling over the door but don’t have the slack I need from my outlet location. Would probably be better that way if you could hang the plug on the ceiling with a spring/lever arm that would pull it up once unplugged.
Let me know if you have better ideas!
