Anyone think there’s a chance of HomeKit integration? How great would it be to say “Hey Siri, pre-warm my Mach E to 72 degrees and set the destination to Disney Springs.”

Not sure about Siri but I thought there was Alexa integration or am I mistaken?

Homebridge is really easy to setup if you have a Raspberry Pi to run it. I plan on running this Homebridge plug-in when I get my Mach-E

So what do you put on the Pi to listen for it? I have a spare Pi sitting around doing nothing. Do I put a mic on it so it hears me when I ask it to do something with my Mach E?

You install Homebridge + the Fordpass plugin onto the Pi. Homebridge gives you a QR code to add your vehicle to Homekit/Home app. Once added, you use Siri on your phone or the Home app to control the vehicle.

Pardon me for being dense, but looking at the github page for that plugin, I'm not seeing anything that the FordPass app won't already do. You can warm your car, lock the doors, etc. I can't help but see this as an unneeded layer

the whole point is exposing those features into HomeKit so that you can automate via Home app and/or use Siri.

No at home. Connect various non official Homekit items to HomeKit.
