I was quoted $800 for a 20 foot run, all external to my house. I went ahead and did the work myself and had it inspected after. about $200 in parts and 100 for the inspection. Good luck!

This guy did mine in northwest Houston. It was pricey but my panel is on the other side of the house. He did a relatives house as well. He does good work.

I have my installation scheduled first week of July. He quoted mw $915 but it is a long run from
breaker box to garage - maybe 50 ft. It's the cost of materials that is driving the price up.

i bought all the parts and plan to install it by myself, until electrician quote me 150 $ , considering the insurance they are carry, I ask him to do it. Mine is simple, just install the NEMA 14-50 next to panel . I will let you know whether he does a good job next week
