This app (Android only it looks like) is geared more towards the European consumers (seeing as it was developed by a German university) but could provide anyone with an answer to "will an EV work for me?" and even "what EV will work for me?" (sadly, though, its database is from 2017 and doesn't have some of the newer models of EVs including the Mach-E)

I used a similar app prior to my leasing a 2013 Focus Electric. It allowed me to drive my commute with the app running. At the end of the day it would indicate how much battery I would have consumed. It was very helpful in determining if an EV would work (granted that was when EV ranges were <100 miles).
