Two weeks for the production date, 6 weeks for the VIN.

I placed my order online on February 3, 2022. On February 17, 2022, the order page on the Ford website showed that production will commence the week of April 25. On March 21, I received an e-mail from Ford with my VIN and also confirming the week of production.

Production date appeared mid-Feb (was almost about to buy a GTPE off the lot or EV6). 2 months.
VIN appeared last week (so mid-March). 3 months.
Production date is mid-April. 4 months.

Here are my timelines from my experiences thus far:

Ordered from Dealership 10/21/21, Ordered confirmed from Ford 10/28/21
1/20/22 VIN- Estimated Build date 2/14/22
2/21/22 Build Completion Email
2/28/22 Shipped Email
4/8/22 thru 4/14/22 Estimated Delivery Date

As for X plan or price hike, was told not confirmed by the Salesman, I am price protected from my order timeline of 10/21/21.

So far and even if my GTPE is delivered by 4/14/22, all within the proposed 28 weeks from Ford.....Knock on wood that everything stays as planned/updates.......

Sorry, at work everything is done in caps(I don't know why). My dealer is accepting X-Plan, just making sure the X-Plan price he showed me was off invoice and not MSRP. I think it's legit but making sure, it's not that I don't trust dealers- I just don't trust dealers!

I am not using the XPlan. Dealer showed me the invoice number on Sunday and I do not even remember what it was. I'm getting old...5 days is a long time to remember something!

You can just calculate to be sure. Xplan is 2% off MSRP + $275. And then doc fee is maxed at $100.

MSRP and invoice are the same on the Mach-E.
