If you ordered or bought a Mach-E, how much experience have you've had with Ford previously? Are you new to the brand or a long-time Ford fan? I'll let you count Lincolns and Mercurys too.
I've had maybe 10 or 15 cars in 35 years of driving...I'm not even sure I could remember them all. I do know, however, that I've never owned--nor wanted to own--a Ford. That changed with the MME.

I'm currently in a 2019 Acura RDX Advance SH-AWD, which I absolutely love. In the back of my mind for the last five years or so, I've thought that when a non-Tesla AWD BEV came around that 1) could go more than 250 miles between charges, and 2) I could afford, I told myself I'd make the switch. Most AWD BEVs before the MME (and even still) are in the below 250 mile range camp, and those that aren't are way more than I'd want to afford. I had no clue about the MME until this March when I stumbled across one of the ubiquitous "Is it really a Mustang..." articles, and as I read about it, I saw that it met my initial criteria. All wheel drive, 270 mile range, and still had the Federal Tax Credit? Yes, please.

Then I started doing my full-scale onslaught of research like I did before buying the RDX--I read everything I could find online, I watched every YouTube video I could find, and I juiced the Ford website mercilessly for every detail. I put in an order in early April, and if the tracking info holds, I should have my Infinite Blue Premium AWD/EX the last week of August. I haven't even test driven one yet, but I've purchased and installed a ChargePoint Home Flex (along with the 240v outlet in the garage), I've got the charge port door 3D printed reinforcer, I've got the upgraded air filter, and I've got a TeslaTap 60A converter and a spare key fob on the way.

I figure if I get to the dealership and hate it, I can sell everything but the ChargePoint as a "pre-packaged new Mustang Mach-E kit" on eBay. :)

First time Ford owner here. Nothing against Ford's really, I just never considered them in the past since none of their vehicles ever resonated with me. The Mach-E on the other hand, had me sold on first sight ? .

3 Mustang coupes, a hand-me-down Granada, and a leased Focus. No real trouble with any of them. Expect the same from my Mach-E.
Ah yes, the Granada! Not many of those mentioned here. I never owned one, but my Driver's Ed car was a '76 Granada. I thought it was great, based on my zero years of driving experience.

I had an 80s foxbody as my first car back in the 1990s.

Crazy when I look back over the years at how many cars I've owned/leased.
