Trading in my last vehicle, my insurance is over $100 less per a month. Which was part of the reason I traded it in, even though my last car was paid off. Anyone else in the same boat?

I stopped by our State Farm agent the other day. Have know the agent there for years. She looked it up for me and the MME will be about $78 more per six months than our 2019 Leaf SL Plus. My rates are relatively low since I in my 60's and not had a ticket or accident in 40 years.......I know...I just screwed myself by saying that.

Mine remained about the same as my 2017 Explorer Sport. It was less than $1 difference per month.

My insurance through statefarm is higher than my CX5 or CRV by about $30/month - the agent indicated that its a brand new vehicle with unknown history of replacement/repair costs and BEVs generally are expensive for repairs.

Mine went down about 300 a year switching from Travelers to Progressive and from my Civic Sedan to the MME. Traveler's wanted to more than double it but to be fair they seemed to think it was a traditional Mustang coupe.

Mine went up about $23 per 6 months. My previous car was a 2019 Chevy Bolt.

Oddly enough, I was at one point looking at Model 3's, and one of those would have made my insurance increase by $300 per 6 months.

Mine went down 30 dollars over a 6 month period. I’m coming from a 2013 Fusion. Was pleased with that.

Mine also went down about $100. Switched from an A4 to the Mach-e.

I’ve been wondering what mine will do registering a GTPE when I get it. I’m in a VW GTI right now and in my late 40s so it may not change much

Down by around $290/6 months vs previous Tesla Model S, Progressive w/ diamond rewards, multi vehicle and multi policy discounts.

Shopped policies and went with Progressive $338/6 months, no accident history, senior drivers. I may end up switching all cars in household.

My idiot insurance company (Cincinnati Insurance to forewarn all) never heard of the Mustang Mach E, so they were unable to quote it properly and gave me a premium in excess of $4,000 per year. It’s listed on my policy as “Mustang Mach 8” Morons! I’m in the process of firing them right now, which is more complex than it sounds because I have to find a carrier that will write a homeowner’s policy with a sinkhole rider (the part of PA that I live in is the geological equivalent of Swiss cheese, except not as geologically stable).
