How to check Orer ID ??

The same day my order went in, Ford emailed me an Order ID. Then the dealer, who has been none too conscientious, called about the Infinite Blue problem. I went with the gray, but don't really trust that the dealer got the info back to Ford and I'm back in the queue. Is there any way to check on the status by Order ID?

Did you check your order on Ford's site? After we placed our order we added the interior protection package; once the dealer added that, we could see it there.

Duh! And I sat on hold for half an hour and never got anywhere. Don't remember doing it but I already had an account. Going to Orders, it found nothing. But when I went to Dashboard (I think), it shows my Mach-E with a VIN! Supposedly Ford was going to email me when parts had been put in the box, then when it was assembled, then when shipped. Haven't received anything so far. Is having a VIN the first step? What does it tell me? It even looks like the right color.

If the image of the car has the correct color, you're probably good.

Since we got ours three months ago I haven't been following the threads for tracking your VIN, so not sure if it still works, but you could the tracker (https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/track-your-mach-e-order-by-vin.2062/) to see details based on your VIN. The "Exterior" tab shows the color.
